Hi friends! I’m Jess, the owner of Beauty and Whiskey. Beauty and Whiskey is a commissioned salon in Menomonee Falls. I started Beauty and Whiskey in 2016 with a hope and a chair. It was never a dream of mine to open a salon, and it definitely was never a dream to have a wedding extension of our salon. But here we are, and I couldn’t be happier with how the business has grown.
Now, we are a wedding team of five and have begun expanding the salon team. On top of being busy behind the chair and with all the brides, I am the mom of a very dramatic eight-year-old and the wife to the most patient and supportive man I’ve ever met in my life. I consider myself a very lucky lady. We own a soy wax candle company that we started during COVID, and it has grown exponentially.
I am very excited to see where the path for this business goes. When I’m not behind the chair or making candles, I am probably taking our three fur babies to doggy daycare or renovating our new rental property.
